Grace Mascarenas

Grace Mascarenas, a vibrant soul known for her fiery personality and infectious laughter, passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on June 27, 1930, Grace filled her years with fun, joy, and an unforgettable spirit that left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

A true firecracker, Grace was characterized by her resilience and strong will, that her loved ones often playfully referenced. She possessed a unique ability to lighten up any room, bringing laughter through her quick wit and charming banter. Grace had a full life enriched by her passions, which included partying, playing cards, dancing, and indulging in her love for western films.

Grace is survived by her devoted daughters, Geraldine and Sharon (Vincent), as well as her beloved sons—Rick, Vincent, Jack (Renee), James, and Mark. A proud matriarch, she cherished her family, which includes 31 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren who all carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. Her sister, Jennie, remains in the fold of her loving family, a testament to their enduring bond.

Grace now joins her daughter Cynthia and her son Joe among the deceased, along with her siblings Toni, Tommy, Celia, Lucy, Angelo, Jovita, and Joe, where they are surely rejoicing together once more.

The services to honor Grace will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro in Denver, Colorado. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects starting at 11:30 AM on February 27, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will take place later that day at Fort Logan National Cemetery, commencing at 2:00 PM.

Grace Mascarenas will be remembered not just for her lively spirit, but also for the profound love she bestowed upon her family and friends. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she cherished. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, joy, and a zest for life that will inspire generations to come.
