Gregory A. Storozuk

August 16, 1945 — May 13, 2019

It is with deepest sorrow that we bid farewell to Gregory Storozuk, 73 years young, who passed away way too soon on May 13th, 2019. Greg peacefully left this world at his home true to the fashion of how he lived his life- with dignity, honor and gentleness. He was surrounded by devoted, loving friends, both at his bedside as he passed as well as those friend and family who were in spirit with him.

Greg is predeceased by his loving parents, Henry Storozuk and Anne (Prystauk) Storozuk; his brother, Jimmy of Fair Lawn, N. J., and by his beloved cockatiel, Frito who was his best companion whom he greatly loved.

Born in Patterson, N. J. on August 16th, 1945, he grew up in Fair Lawn, N. J. and graduated from high school, excelling in archery and athletics. He then proudly joined the U. S. Coast Guard serving his country for four years, earning an honorable discharge. He remained a fierce and devoted veteran throughout his entire life.

Greg then headed to Colorado where he attended and graduated from Western Colorado University in Gunnison where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management. Colorado won his heart and eventually became his forever home.

Greg's truest destiny would soon come to fruition in 1976, he attended his first dowsing class in Truth or Consequences N. M., followed by attending his first dowsing convention in Danville, V. T., conducted by the American Society of Dowsers.

In 1981, he was awarded the honor of Dowser of the year by the American Society of Dowsers. In 1982, he founded and sat as President of the Mile High Dowsers Chapter of the A. S. D.

Greg was elected the President of the American Society of Dowsers from 1986 to 1987. He sat as a trustee for the American Society of Dowsers from 1982 to 1992. In 2018 Greg was awarded the highest honor in the dowsing community and became a Master Dowser.

Greg was a teacher, speaker, workshop and seminar leader at many national conventions and conferences across the country throughout his career. He wrote four booklets which remain in publication to date. He contributed countless articles to a wide variety of publications and did many radio and television interviews nationally. His dowsing expertise included not only water but also oil, gas and minerals, all with endless confirmations and locations. Greg was truly a master of his craft and was a unique and gifted dowser, highly respected in the dowser community all over the globe.

Greg impacted countless lives both professionally and personally. He is survived by his loving family of cousins who he greatly loved, as well as many, many dear friends who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed.
