Gwen was born in Franklin, NH. She grew up in Maine and attended Dexter High School. From a very young age, she knew she wanted to be a nurse. She received her nursing degree from Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital for many years.
She enjoyed playing the piano and the cello. She loved classical music, the coast of Maine, reading, and the Broncos! She loved the Fall, scented candles, yellow roses and lobster. For a tiny woman, she could pack away more lobster than at very large man! Her favorite pastime of all was shopping! Kohls will never be the same without her.
She moved to Colorado 25 years ago to be close to this side of the family. She adored all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived a wonderful, full life and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
