Key of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Gary A. of Thornton Colorado; 9 grandchildren; 1 sister; and numerous extended family.
Charles and Lois were married for 58 years. He served in the US Navy as a photographer during the Korean War. He never changed companies but for over 40 years the company, Eastman Kodak/Trek Photographic/VWR Scientific/Dixon Paper, changed under him. He sold, serviced, trained users, and maintained photo processing equipment for the Rocky Mountain area. Some of his customers were police departments and newspapers.
When you look in the dictionary under ethical, Charlie Brown was there. He was a perfectionist, if it was worth doing at all, do it right.
Charlie Brown being from a musical family, encouraged his children to learn music. As a result, his children learned to play around a dozen instruments. With the grandchildren learning several also. During those years of concerts from elementary school through high school, Charlie Brown recorded every one and today they fill 52 CD's. At times band directors would ask to hear an old concert and Charlie Brown had the tape.
Charlie Brown believed in repairing things himself and passed this handyman trait on to his children. Early on he was a professional photographer. He enjoyed working with wood with projects at home, work, church, and schools. During his retirement he helped a lot of people learn computers and get on the Internet, he helped his church upgrade the sound system and trained the operators.
Charlie Brown will be missed by many.
