H. Glenn Richards

H. Glenn Richards, age 90, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on October 27, 2021 of natural causes.

He was born to the late G. Pennington and Dorothy Richards, March 18, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Geology in 1953 and went on to get his MS in Geology at the University of Kansas in 1955.

He married the late Clairce Zarling on December 3, 1953 and they lived in a varies places such as Lawrence KS, Salt Lake City UT, Central America - Guatemala and Bogota, Cambridge MD, Houston TX and ended up in Boulder CO, while working in the petroleum industry. His loving wife, Clairce Richards, passed away May 21, 1984.

Glenn later met the 2nd love of his life, Jane Marie Morgan. They were married September 7, 1985. They share an active life and were blessed to be able to travel together around the world. They went to such places as Europe - "Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy", Africa - "Namibia", England - "Northern & Southern and Wales", Asia and China - "Burma, Cambodia, Thailand', Baltic States and the Adriatic. They also traveled to various locations in the United States including National Parks, the coasts of Washington and Oregon and of course to see their children in Cincinnati Ohio, Seattle Washington, Santa Monica California and Arlee Montana.

Glenn worked as a Geologist most of life everywhere from Alaska to Bogota, Colombia. He was very talented in creating anything out of wood and loved building furniture. He enjoyed painting and was very artistic. Glenn and Jane shared a passion for travel and photography. This passion lead them to travel the world captioning beautiful pictures and having the time of their life. They enjoyed sharing these experiences with their family and friends. Glenn won numerous awards and recognition for his photography including international exhibits.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 36 years Jane; four children, Cheryl Westover (Mark) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Tara Sheridan (Barney) of Arlee, Montana; John Morgan (Sally) of Seattle, Washington and Pamela Morgan of Santa Monica, California. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Cody Sheridan, Nicolle Stuart, Rachael and Ryan Morgan, Matt (Maggie) Westover, John, Luke and Clairce Westover. Along with 4 great-grandchildren Steele and Stran Stuart, Declan and Dane Westover. He was preceded in death by his parents, Granville Pennington and Dorothy Richards and his first wife of 32 years, Clairce Richards.
