Hellen Jean Waldrum, age 93, born November 10, 1926 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri passed from this life August 24, 2020. She was the only child of George and Grace Carpenter
Jean, as she was always called, married Carl Waldrum April 13, 1944 at the age of 17. They enjoyed 76 years together. She was a dedicated Christian attending worship services faithfully at the Golden Church of Christ since moving to Colorado in 1963.

She had various jobs over her life time but always focused on her family. Her humor and determination served her well. She outlived many of her contemporaries, but always had younger friends with whom she enjoyed life.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; children: Betha (Bob) Zebroski, and Douglas Waldrum; grand children: Heather (Doug) Moon and Andrea Anderson; six great grandchildren: Dylan and Cameron Moon, Jordyn (Tyler) Pelley; Trey, Grace and Sadie Ford; one great great grandson , Brody Pelley.
