Age 79, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Sunday, with her children at home, after a long bout with cancer. Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, she escaped to Germany with friends after WWII, where she met her husband, Ludvik, while waiting to emigrate to the United States. They immigrated to New York, and had three children, Lori, Thomas, and Robert. After her husband's passing in 1966, she moved to Colorado in 1969 to raise her children. Hana was an accomplished business woman and spent 23 years as an integral member of the Jones Intercable Company and related enterprises until the early 1990s. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Thomas, and is survived by her daughter, Lori, son, Bob, and five grandchildren: Amanda, Thomas, Allyson, Austin, and Michaela. Hana's passions were reading, the mountains, fishing, and classical and Native American art. Private family services at a later date.
