Harold E. Petersen
Born May 16, 1930, passed away on February 21, 2010 at the age of 79. Affectionately knows as "Pete", he is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn, children Lynn, Clifford, Dan, grandchildren Bo, Joe, and Chris, great grandchildren Gavin and Grace, sister-in-law Marion Petersen, niece Karen, nephews Chris and Kim. Other sister-in-law Florence Ansloan, niece Linda, nephews Bobby, Johnny, and Kenny; numerous other relatives and friends.
Relatives preceding him in death are mother and father, brothers Stan and Clifford, daughter Mary Lynn, and son Bobby.
Harold was born in Oakes, ND. Later the family moved to Denver, CO in 1933. Harold joined the Marine Corps in 1947 and was honorably discharged in 1955.
He loved his family very much and worked hard all of his life, until he retired in 1992. He could fix anything—inside or outside of the house. Harold enjoyed camping trips, where one of his favorite activities was fishing. He had much pride in his 1988 pickup truck and camper, and boat.
The world has lost a truly great, decent man. His loving family will sadly miss him forever.
He will forever be in our hearts.
