Haskie Young, Jr.

Haskie Young, Jr., 84, of Arvada, passed away October 18, 2018.

He was born June 28, 1934 in Falcon, West Virginia, the son of Haskie and Sylvia (Menard) Young.

Haskie was a member of the Elks Lodge #1777, Lakewood Colorado. He was also a member of Local L0009, International Union of Operating Engineers. Haskie was also a member of Fellowship Covenant Church in Arvada.

Haskie enjoyed bowling for many years. He also enjoyed dancing and singing. He enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren and even shuttled them to various activities.

Haskie is survived by daughter, Evelyn Shearer; son-in-law, Samuel Sena; five grandchildren, Christina R. (Andrew) Hendrick, Roseanna Cardona, Tricia Sena, Russell (Shauna) Shearer and Patrick (Kate) Shearer; three great-grandchildren, Christabel Carrillo, Savannah Hendrick, Morgan Hendrick and Brooklynn Hendrick; brother, Carl (Edna) Young; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by wife, Patricia Young; daughter, Carol Sena; son, Duke Young; father, Haskie Young; mother, Sylvia Young and one brother and two sisters.
