Helgard Adele Brigitte Sepper

Helgard, known by her family as Oma, was a sweet woman and a kind soul. She was diminutive in stature but enormous in spirit. Small but mighty. A nice little German lady born in Berlin with a giant heart and a playful sense of humor. She was tremendously caring and embraced all of her loved ones with no judgement and no expectations. She accepted everyone at face value and never cast ill will towards anyone.

A loving wife, a devoted mother, and adoring grandmother, Helgard was committed to her church and committed to her family. She and her late husband, Herbert, took care of her parents, Gertrude and Johannes, for decades. Helgard also gave her sons, Thomas Mark (Thom) and John Peter (Pete), an amazing childhood. Her friends and loved ones are fortunate to have had Helgard in their lives and are fortunate to have so many lovely memories of her. She will be missed by all of us always and will never be forgotten. She will live forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her sister Heidi, sons Thom and Pete, grandsons Ryne and Jesse, and daughter-in-law Mary Beth.
