Henrietta Apodaca

November 16, 1938 — February 14, 2018

Henrietta (Queta) (Portugal) Apodaca, Born November 16, 1938, in Keensburg, CO, died in her home on February 14, 2018 from a long battle of cancer.

She graduated from Manuel High School in 1957.

She was well known in the soccer community as a referee, she was enshrined into the Colorado Soccer Hall of Fame. She was always a hard worker and could do anything she put her mind to. She was involved with Ballet Flocorico, a top sales rep at Joslins, and in Tupperware. She was a very active member at St. Rafka and St. Anthony's.

She was married to Nicolas D Apodaca on March 23, 1968 whom proceeded her in death on March 27, 2003 from Lung Cancer.
She was also proceeded in death by her parents Leonard and Lula Portugal.

She is survived by her sons Nick D Apodaca and Leonard Apodaca (Sherri) and grandchildren Anthony Apodaca, Aiden Apodaca, Samantha Pritts, Cameron and Taylor Ferro. Great Grandchildren Lucas and Aubree Pritts. Brothers: Leonard Portugal (Lucy), Richard Portugal and Rocky Portugal and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.

A Memorial service will be held on March 3, 2018 at 10:00 am St. Anthony's at 3801 W Ohio, Denver CO 80219.
