Henry worked in the parts department at Buick Chevrolet in Fort Morgan before joining the Navy, serving from 1944 - 1946. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, he returned to Buick Chevrolet in Fort Morgan and, in 1950, he was offered a position in the parts department with Luby Chevrolet in Denver, Colorado. Shortly after accepting this position, he was promoted to Parts Manager and successfully filled this position for over 50 years until he retired in 2000.
He was married to the former Edna Brandt of Fort Morgan, Colorado on December 29, 1951 and would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on December 29, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; daughter, Tobilynn Erosky of Denver, Colorado; son, Scott Erosky of Lansing, Kansas; and two sisters, Irene Bryant of Littleton, Colorado and Helen Kirby of Leawood, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by brother Alexander, William, Michael, Anthony, Walter, and Victor; and sisters Olga and Pauline.
At Henry's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Denver Hospice at 8289 East Lowry Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80230; or Holly Heights Care Center at 6000 East Iliff Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80222.
Henry was a quiet man and he was more interested in how everyone else was doing rather than his own life and would literally give you the shirt off his back if you asked. He will truly be missed by his family and leaves behind a legacy and a life well-lived.
