Henry Dale Helming, age 70, passed away peacefully with his longtime companion Ronnette Marshall by his side on October 27, 2019 in Lakewood, Colorado. Henry was born on February 7, 1949 in Strasburg, Colorado to Loyd and Edith (Darby) Helming.
Henry retired from the Colorado Department of Transportation in 2001 after 27 years of service. After retirement, Henry was the owner and operator of Jewell Liquor in Lakewood.
Henry was a lifelong enthusiast of fast cars. He enjoyed working on his own cars and would often be found racing those cars at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison.
Henry is survived by Ronnette, sister melody Toineeta, brother Howard Helming, nephew Howard Wright and nieces Hope Wright and Heather Britton.
A celebration of life will be held at Bandimere Speedway on November 9, 2019 at 10:30 am.
