Henry Winfred Dahlberg, 91, of Centennial, passed away December 10, 2007 after an extended illness.
Mr. Dahlberg was born June 26, 1916 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Henry Winfred Dahlberg, Sr. and Irene (Cannon) Dahlberg.
He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II, attaining the rank of Captain.
Mr. Dahlberg worked for many years as a Chemical Engineer in Denver and in Illinois. He was a 50 year member of Cherry Point Masonic Lodge and also belonged to the Denver Consistory and the El Jebel Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Iris G. Dahlberg; son, Frank (Gloria) Dahlberg;
daughter, Julie (Chuck) Mills; siblings, Dorothy, Grace, Stan and Ken; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation, Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.; Funeral Services, Monday 12:30 P.M., both at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, with Rev. Paul C. Mauritz, officiating. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery - Staging Area / Shelter "C". Military Honors by the United States Army and the All Veterans Honor Guard.
