Howard D. "Marty" Martin died peacefully at home on January 9, 2005. He is survived by Rose Blackburn; daughters, Susan Martin Wood and Michelle Martin Lamont; son, Shawn Martin, Dan Wood, and Chris Lamont; granddaughters, Emily and Allison Wood, Juliana and Chloe Lamont. Marty was preceded in death by father, Glenn A. Martin, Sr.; mother, Ann R. Martin; brothers, Weldon and Eldon Martin; sister, Margaret "Marge" Bauer; niece, Marci Martin; grandnephew, Chase Martin; and grandson, Nicholas Martin. Funeral service Thursday, January 13, 12:00 P.M. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, East Metro Chapel, 190 N. Potomac Street, Aurora. Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 2:00 P.M., Staging Area "B". Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
