Icy L. Cary, age 99, of Westminster, CO passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She was born on February 25, 1923 in Medicine Lodge, KS, the daughter of Fern (Pearce) and Walter Moomau.
Survivors include her son, Doug (Theresa) Mackay; grandchildren, Preston (Sarah) Mackay, Daniel (Beth) Mackay, Richard (Paulette) Robertson, Teri (Shawn) Grady, Mike (Celia) VonAchen, Michelle Wozab and Jamie (Jessica) VonAchen; 21 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren and one sister, Helen Cushenberry.
Icy was preceded in death by her husband, William Cary in 2011; daughters and son in laws, Bonnie (Jack) Robertson, Shirley (Kurt) Judd and son and daughter in law, Donald (Lynn) VonAchen; granddaughter, Kim Jensen and one brother, Buster Moomau.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 27, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Church Ranch Ward, 1951 Elmwood Lane, Westminster, CO. Visitation will be held an hour prior, from 10:00-11:00 am at the church. Burial will be held at a later date in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
