Ilene F. Carpenter

Ilene Carpenter, age 82, of Lakewood, CO passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born on March 12, 1940 in Mitchell, SD, the daughter of Lelia (Strand) and Richard Fristad.

Survivors include her husband, Verne Carpenter; her children, Deb (Paul) Heap, Douglas (Joy) Carpenter, Lyle (Stacey) Carpenter, Laurie (Steve) Greene, Sherry (John) Moldovan and Scott (Karen) Carpenter; grandchildren, Christi Walker, Aaron Heap, Andrea Heap, Lindsey Anderson, Preston Carpenter, Jon Svoboda, Garrett Winner, Mitchell Winner, Austen Carpenter, Alexa Carpenter, Braden Carpenter, Miranda McHugh, Ashley Henry, Tyler Greene, Travis Greene, Michael Moldovan, Jessica Smith, Joshua Moldovan, Makenzie Carpenter, Kylie Carpenter and Jordan Fender; 22 great grandchildren; brothers, David Fristad and Kalen Fristad and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joyce Petersen and Dorothy Lane and her brothers, Vincent Fristad, Verlon Fristad and Eugene Fristad.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Denver First Church, 3651 S Colorado Blvd, Englewood, CO. Visitation will be held an hour prior, from 10:00-11:00 am at the church. Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 29, 2022 in Fort Logan National Cemetery, staging area A. Pallbearers: Aaron Heap, Preston Carpenter, Austen Carpenter, Braden Carpenter, Tyler Greene, Travis Greene, Josh Moldovan, Luke Smith and Brian Anderson.
