ILLSE Kresyman, age 95, passed away on October 3, 2022.

She was born to Frieda and August Decher on July 19, 1927 in Rülfenrod, Germany. After graduating from high school, she continued her studies in Frankfurt and started her career. She was working in Wiesbaden Germany for the Stars and Stripes Newspaper where she met her husband Clarence who was stationed there in the Army. She and Clarence were married and had four children. Clarence retired from the Army in 1968 and the family settled in Aurora, Colorado. Ilse and Clarence were members of St. Pius Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus assisting with dinners, bake sales, bazaars, bereavement committee and offering communion to residents in care centers and homes. She worked as an administrative assistant at the optical department at Fitzsimons Army Base. She and Clarence enjoyed their card games with the neighbors. She enjoyed gardening, baking tortes and cakes for birthdays and special occasions, crocheting blankets and baby blankets for friends and family.

She and her husband Clarence were avid bowlers and participated in many bowling tournaments in Colorado and Las Vegas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her parents Frieda and August, her sister Elfriede. Survived by four children, Julia, Francis "Buddy", Diane (Mark), Larry (Becky), five grandchildren Zena, Regan, Michael, Kaelyn and Ian, five great grand children, Benjamin, Carson, Victory, Adam, and Charlotte..
