Inez M. Savala

Maria Inez Savala was born on August 26, 1911 in Walsenburg, Colorado to the union of Benigno and Antonia Archuleta and went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2007. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ricardo (Marjorie) Baca, Robert (Lilo) Baca, Joseph (Carla) Baca, Stella Espinoza, Gloria (Ronald) Field, Tony (Louisa Quintana) Savala, Theresa (Jack) Rudder, Louise Danielson, and Timothy Savala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Celso Savala, and her daughter, Antoinette Hardin and four grandchildren. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Inez was the last surviving member of a large pioneer ranching family in Huerfano County. She is the end of a generation and loved her family and cherished her time with them. The family would like to express their sincerest thanks to the staff of the Hallmark Nursing Care Center and the Hospice of Metro Denver for the loving care they gave to their mother and grandmother.
