Ione Magdirila- goes by Cindy by family and close friends, went in peace to be with her Lord on Friday, Nov 3rd. She was a beloved wife to Michael and a mother to Aden, 16 and Aney, 9.
Born in the Philippines, she moved to Guam with her family at about age 12. She moved to Colorado in 2004 and Michael came to join her 2 years later.
Cindy loved life, loved to laugh and loved to sing Karaoke. She liked to explore new places, and eat out. She had a beautiful soul with innate affection for kids.
A loyal friend, devoted and loving wife, a great homemaker, her children meant the world to her.
In June this year she was diagnosed with stage 4 Endometrial cancer, for which she underwent chemotherapy and had a good progress for the next 2 months. But sadly thereafter, her cancer grew uncontrollably until her passing.
Though faced with the inevitable, she was unfazed by what fate would deal her. She always hang on to her deep faith and never lost trust and belief in God. She showed so much strength and courage through adversity and set backs on her treatment, fearless of any eventuality except making sure she spoke with family and friends to take good care of her kids. Up until her last l moments, she spoke of her children's well-being when she is gone.

She will forever be remembered by family and close friends to be God fearing, fun-loving, self-deprecating affectionate and empathetic soul.
She is survived by her mother Rosalia, siblings Ruthlyn, Ferdinand, Rocilio, Jeanalyn, Zeny and Maribel. And numerous nephews and nieces.
