Ione Rovina Fellows

Iona Rovina Fellows, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2009 with her family present.

Ione was born on December 29, 1921 in Huntington Beach, California, the daughter of Roy R. Swain and Alma (Pedraita) Swain.

On July 13, 1948, Ione married Carroll F. Fellows. He preceded her in death.

Ione worked for Skywest Airlines for 20 years as a Passenger Escort. She retired in 2001.

Ione is survived by her daughter, Janet Poland; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews.

Although we miss her, we know that she is in a better place.

There will be two Memorial Services held in memory of Ione. The first one will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00PM at Cedars Health Care Center, 1599 Ingalls St., Lakewood, CO 80215.

The second will be a Celebration of Ione's Life at Janet's residence, 6769 Abundance Way, Golden, CO 80401 on Saturday, June 25, 2009 from 12:00PM until 5:00PM.
