Irene M Lujan, 82, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister left us on April 28, 2020
Preceded by her parents, Deluvina and Max Quintana, sisters Lourdes Hutchinson, Arlene Jaramillo, Lucille Garica, brother Alonso Quintana and god children, Steven Lujan and Michael Atencio.
Married for 62 years to loving husband Joseph Lujan, mother to Joseph Jr, Jodeen and Paul (Denise). Grandmother to Brittany Kaire, Noelle Conway (Sean), Stephen Kaire (Ashley), Christian Lujan (Christie) and Paul Lujan (Elena). Great-grandmother to Christian Lujan Jr, Jackson Lujan, Mia Lujan, Briella Conway, Colette Conway and great-child (James Conway) on the way.
Sister to Patricia, Darlyne (George), Stanley (Lorre), Yolanda (Joseph), Gregory (Carrie).
Sister-in-Law to Josie, Corrine, Zeke (Delores), Priscilla (Gerson), Manual and Annie (Jim)
God mother to John Hutchinson, Lauren Flores and Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
We will miss you every day for the rest of our lives. You loved company your family, friends and neighbors when they would come for visits or share a special meal you prepared and made sure nobody left with an empty stomach. You always looked forward to decorating the house for the season, planting flowers and putting up hanging baskets in the spring and summer so you could enjoy their beauty while sitting on the porch or patio. Simply put, you were outgoing and a person that everyone liked and loved and was the glue that held our family together saying numerous times I don't give up what's mine and we all belonged to you.
Arrangements made through Newcomer located at 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226. Viewing held Monday, May 4, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Please note only 10 people allowed at a time and everyone must wear a mask.
Catholic Funeral Mass to be held at a later date.
