Isaiah John Adams Pickens

August 29, 1990 — February 1, 2024

Isaiah John Adams Pickens was born on August 29, 1990 in Colorado Springs, Co. Brenda Rollins is the proud parent of Isaiah. Isaiah was preceded in death by his father Reggie Booker, grandmother Dorothy Lee Thurmon, his uncle St. John Tyler Jr. & his uncle Cycle Lee Tyler. Isaiah leaves behind an older brother Maurice Pickens, and four younger sisters Brittney Pickens, Shalika Campbell, Makayla Rollins, and Diamond Sharp.

Isaiah was a Mama's Boy who she called "Buga Boo". When Isaiah was an infant, the family began calling him Butterball because he was chunky in weight. As a little kid Isaiah always had a hustle in him. He & his big brother would go around the neighborhood, taking out people's trash or even mowing their lawn for cash or even selling candy at eight years old.

Isaiah was also very adventurous when it came to being outside. He would catch crawdads & snakes and put them in his mother's fish tank. You couldn't tell him and his big brother nothing growing up. Isaiah also collected Pokémon cards and he was into Dragon Ball Z. He was an awesome kid that went through many changes growing up. Isaiah played sports (basketball) and he could swim like a fish.

Isaiah had a different relationship with all five of his siblings. Isaiah truly loved his mother. He treated all the women in his family with favoritism. All the women could do no wrong; from his cousins to his Aunties to his Sisters. If it was a stranger on the street Isaiah was always there to put a smile on that Woman's face. Isaiah was a protector. An example of this is when his Mother would go out he couldn't go to sleep because of worry until his Mother was back safely at home. He was wide awake on the couch, waiting for his mom to walk in the door. He was the kind of person that would put a smile on everybody's face.

Isaiah graduated high school in 2009, had his first daughter (Caniyah) in 2010. After that he moved to Denver, Colorado where he fathered four beautiful children (Isaiah Junior), then came his twins (Amia & Xzavion) and then (Amari ). Isaiah made sure he did any and everything he could for his children. He sacrificed his life for his kids and for that he is a SUPERHERO.

Isaiah was always in tune with his music (rap & R&B). Isaiah cooked every day and every night for his family. He even had his own recipe for a spread (meal). It was actually good. He was goofy, tall, and handsome. He loved to gamble, from playing poker to playing dice. He was a strong believer in Family Unity & Family loyalty.

A Funny Story: As a kid, Isaiah would put cereal and cookies in his pockets. My mom would find the cereal in the washer and dryer. Isaiah loved him some cereal.

..On the streets Isaiah went by Zay Loc but at home he was a protector, a loving son, a loving man he was everything .. Isaiah had a heart of gold. Isaiah always kept the people around him laughing. The memories will live on. From this point moving forward, not a day will pass that Our whole family will not be thinking about you. Our eyes are filled with tears and our heart cries out in pain. Until we meet again. Never goodbye. C-ya later. 1010 until we meet again H!
