Iva Dean Moyer, 94, of Denver Colorado, died Thursday June 22, 2023. She was born on June 27, 1928 to Robert and Iva Nix (deceased) in Northport, Alabama. Iva Dean married John Edward Moyer (deceased) on June 10, 1950. She is survived by her sister Glenda Faye Lawrence (New Zealand) and her family, her three sons J.R. Moyer (Robbie), Richard Edward Moyer and spouse Cheryl, Michael Glen Moyer. Also, grandchildren Kay O'Callaghan and spouse Tim, Ed Moyer and spouse Ashley, great granddaughters Emily Moyer and Ava O'Callaghan.
She was preceded in death by her brothers William Nix and spouse Evelyn, David Nix and spouse Sharon (living in Colorado) and their children.
Dean was a Construction Administrator for Centric Jones until her retirement. She was a long-time member of the Women in Construction organization.
