Ivan T. Burchard

Ivan Truman Burchard, Born 8/22/1945 Age 72 passed away on Monday December 11th, 2017. Lived in Denver Colorado. He was born in Yakima Washington to the late Leila and Howard Burchard. Survived by his Children, Ivan Burchard (Jovita Burchard) Lakewood Co.; Aleita Ward (Jamie Ward) Denver Co.; Bobette Lee (Tom Lee) Denver Co.; Grandchildren Christopher Burchard (Amber Pierce) Denver Co; Justin Townsend Arlington Texas; Ashley Gregg (Josh Gregg) Littleton Co. ; Brook Jackson (Jeremy Jackson) Lakewood Co.; Chance Ward Denver Co. Great Grandchildren: Jack Townsend, Noelle Townsend & Sawyer Townsend. His Sister Aleita Morris (Don Morris); Brothers: AJ Sandquist (Mary Sandquist); Howard Burchard; Kenny Sandquist (Georgia Sandquist); Larry Burchard; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Ivan worked for the City and County of Denver in the Wastewater Unit for over 30 years, he served in the Navy on the USS Prairie from 1962-1966. He was married to Kathleen Burchard from December 24,1963-April 1, 1995. He loved being with his family, tinkering in the garage, playing cards with his sister and brothers, going to the races and building stuff in his shop. He was a wonderful father and a friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Memorial Service is at the VFW Post 9644, 2680 W. Hampden Ave. Englewood, Co. 80110 on Saturday December 30 starting at 2:00 p.m.
