Ivan Timothy Long, 61, of Aurora, passed away November 15, 2020.
He was born May 28, 1959 in Richmond, Virginia, the son of Ruth Long.
He was a graduate of King & Queen County. He received his Associates in Business from Barnes Business College.
Ivan honorably served in the U.S. Navy as a Radioman.
He was a Comptroller with the State of New Mexico in the Medical Division and was responsible for medical codes and billing.
Ivan enjoyed learning things on the computer and the phone. He loved sports, especially the San Francisco 49ers, the Colorado Avalanche and the Colorado Rockies. He loved to record music and make tapes. He traveled extensively with Darryl, taking many cruises and traveling to many countries during his life. Ivan was a wonderful man who was devoted to his mother, partner and family. He was known for his kind and generous heart. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ivan is survived by his Partner of 35 years, Darryl Ludi; sister, Michelle Tippet; brother, Ronnie Wayne Long and several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by mother, Ruth Long.
