Ivan W. Biddle was born on April 11, 1918 in Warren County, Iowa to Grant and Vinnie Biddle. He went home to be with his Lord & Savior on April 17, 2008.
Ivan went into the Army February 1942 & served until 1945. He married Ruth Thompson in May of 1942. After serving his country he settled with his family in the Denver area. Ivan worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement.
He enjoyed working on & repairing lawnmowers and small engines.
He is survived by his sons Leroy & Larry of Denver along with his grandson Jeffery ( Amy ) three great grandsons, Hunter, Orion & Josh
Of Avondale Colorado. In addition, Ivan has 3 brothers & a sister ;
Walter of Berwick , Iowa , John ( Bessie ) of Mt. Ayr , Iowa ,
David ( Roberta ) of Emmetsburg , Iowa and Thelma Jefferies also of Emmetsburg , Iowa & many nieces and nephews.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents , son Melvin , wife Ruth &
Brothers Dale and Wilfred.
Viewing will be at Newcomer Family West Chapel, 901 South Sheridan Blvd from
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Tuesday April 22, 2008. Graveside services held
at Hampden Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm.
