Jack E. Allen

May 5, 1926 — October 31, 2019

Jack Eugene Allen was called to heaven's fishing hole on October 31st while surrounded by his beloved family. Jack is survived by his wife Jean of nearly 72 years, son John Allen (Kassie Allen), daughter Sharon Talley; five grandchildren Jeremy Holck (Launi Holck), Matthew Twist, Jennifer Maxwell (Justin Maxwell), Krysta Allen, Jesse Carney; eight great grandchildren, Jessica, Cade, Hailey, Makayla, Ronin, Amanda, Wyatt, Silas, Brystol, and Maverick.

Jack was proud to serve our country in the Navy as an Electrician on the USS General ET Collins ship and was honorably discharged in 1948. He would go onto marry the love of his life, Jean, and eventually started a career with the Denver Public Schools where he would enjoy being a heating and ventilation technician for 31 years. Jack enjoyed restoring old cars, hunting, fishing and playing with his boats as well as spending time with his family and friends. Anyone who was lucky enough to know him will forever remember him for his amazing sense of humor, witty comebacks and contagious smile.
