Jack Edward Olson was 88 years old at his passing on January 17, 2020.
He was born June 8, 1931 in SLC, Utah and is an identical twin. He served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by Doreen, his wife of 62 years, his brothers Jim and Dave, his 5 children Jackie,
Chris, Brian, Robin and Jonathan as well as grandchildren Josh, Megan Tom, Anthony, Michael, Isaiah and Zachary.
He has 6 great grandchildren who were the light of his life, Alexander, Gabriel, Myra, Eli, Peyton and James.
Jack spent his career in electronics engineering and he and Doreen were self-employed in this field for many years.
Jack loved his family, his friends, his church and his dogs. He loved to work in the beautiful gardens in the yard with Doreen.
They maintained a pond with fish in the yard for many years. He enjoyed walking around local lakes with his dogs and going to the gym at Carmody.
He enjoyed talking astronomy, religion, and physics with his friends. He loved to wrestle on the floor with his great grandchildren crawling all over him.
He was an avid writer and spent much of his time writing stories and doing research.
Jack will be missed for his compassion, love and constant mantra of forgiveness.
