Jackie John Duran

On February 29, 2024, in the early morning Jack Duran left us for a better place peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to Inez and Patricio Duran on May 17, 1950. He moved to Nebraska as an infant and then moved back to Fort Collins to graduate from Fort Collins High School in 1968. He Then met his loving wife and married Christine Martinez on June 25, 1971.

He worked as a Fort Collins City Worker for a few years before moving to Aurora, Colorado to work for Arvada Hardwood Floors for many years. In 2006, he decided to start his own company, Sonrise Hardwood Floors.

Jack is preceded in death by son Rick "Big Rick", and brother Jim. Left to cherish his memory are wife Christine Duran, children Jason, Josh and Daneille; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings Jerry (Susan), Judy (Rick) and Jeff; and many, many more relatives and friends.

Rosary will be 11 am, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 followed by Mass at 11:30 am and reception following all at Our Lady of the Valley, 1250 7th St., Windsor 80550.
