James Leroy Harris

James L. Harris passed away at his home on November 21, 2020 at the age of 78.

James is predeceased in death by his Father, Elmer C. Harris, Mother: Christine E. (Drda) Harris, Sister: Elaine Gallagher, Brothers: Wayne Harris, Roger Harris and Daughter: Colleen Schlundt.

James is survived by his loving wife, Rosodae, of 60 years. They where married in Idaho Springs, Colorado on August 16, 1960.

James is lovingly remembered by his wife Rosodae of Denver, His Six Surviving Children, Terry Harris, Larry Harris, Duane Harris, Michelle Massey, Shannon Harris and Philip Harris. Eighteen Grandchildren: Shanna Walker, Jason Harris, Kyle Schlundt, Amanda Trevino, Smantha Cisneros, Joshua Harris, Shane Harris, Kristine Schlundt, Heidy Aguirre, Spencer Schlundt, Brandon Schlundt, Dominique Harris, Ashley Schlundt, Alisha Massey, Mikayla Seward, Marleen Harris, Chrisitian Seward and Philip Harris Jr., Thirteen Great Grandchildren: Justin Harris, Landen Easter, Reyna Cruz, Gauge Schlundt, Shyanne Harris, Fabian Zambrano, James Trevino, Mayson Harris, Jeffery Harris, Jackson Walker, Lily Folsom, Micahila Hahn and Romen Santibanez.

James was born in Pueblo, Colorado on July 23, 1942. He graduated from Manuel High School in 1960. He worked for Samsonite Luggage Company until 1968 before starting his career as a Truck Driver for Colorado Brick until 1988. He then began to work for Colorado Petroleum, where he worked for 30 years until his retirement in 2018.

James Loved spending time with his family, collecting guns , watching western movies, doing word search puzzles and going to Las Vegas.
