James (Jim) L. Mora Jr, 77, was born in Port Arthur, Texas on November 21, 1946 and died on January 16, 2024.
After graduating from high school, Jim joined the US Marines from 1966 - 1968. After his service, he moved to Denver, Colorado. There he worked at the Denver Water Board. Jim loved hunting, fishing, gold panning, model trains, and being a creative craftsman with wood and leather. His greatest love was his grandchildren. Together, they loved exploring road maps, saturday donuts and watching cowboy shows.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Mora, and their two daughters: Tracy and husband Ryan Zent of Aurora, Colorado and Jamie Mora of Chicago, Illinois. His three grandchildren Maxwell, Leo and Lucy. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Mora of Dallas, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
