November 3, 2023, James William Nichols, 73, of Aurora CO joined his beloved wife and best friend, Elizabeth, in heaven.
James was born on August 20, 1950 in Philadelphia PA to the loving parent John and Elsie Nichols and the youngest of 2 children.
He grew up and met his future wife, Elizabeth, in Clayton NJ. James and Elizabeth started dating around 1967. After he graduated Clayton High School he joined the Air Force. Then, while still serving, he married Elizabeth June 27, 1970. After serving his 4 years, he left the Air Force in 1971 then welcomed his first of two daughters later that year. He always worked hard for his family. He worked at Texaco Oil Refinery for many years until they moved to Colorado in 1987. Once in Colorado he did work that displayed his artistic abilities.
Not only was he a loving husband and a great Dad, but he was also Bebop to six beautiful grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.
James is survived by his two daughters, Tiffany and Robin, six grandchildren, Lea, Samuel, Hannah, James, Alexis and Tyler. He is together again with his older brother, Jackie and his parents, John and Elsie, and his best friend and other half, Elizabeth.
