James Perry "Jim" Williams, 73, of Denver, passed away June 26, 2021. He was born May 18, 1948 in Los Alamos, New Mexico, the son of Joe and Mary Williams Sr.
He attended Manual High School where he graduated in 1967. Jim served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He achieved the rank of SGT. Jim was proud of his service to the US Army and his country.
Jim was a Jack of all trades doing jobs beginning with his first job at Saint Joseph Hospital as an Orderly/Porter to jobs at Russell Stovers, the US Mint, and construction. He even made noodles at Grandma's Noodle Company. Jim worked tending bar at many local pubs and bars.
Jim was a Denver Bronco fan and recently took an interest in watching boxing.
He tried to help people out when he could. He will be remembered as a helpful man to so many.
James is survived by nieces and nephews SherryJo Aguirre, Andrew D. Aguirre, Joe E. (Jessie) Williams, PatriciaJo Dawson, Anita (Rudy) Melendez, and Tony Ortega; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other family and friends too numerous to name. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Isabel, and brother Joe W. Williams, Jr.
