Jamie Larissa Shipley

August 7, 1997 — June 14, 2024

Jamie Larissa Shipley, 26, passed away June 14, 2024 in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born August 7, 1997 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Steven Wayne Shipley and Doreen (Navarro) Mueller. She is survived by Sisters: Julianna Shipley, Jessica Desiree Maestas; Two Brothers: Joseph David Maestas, Justin Wayne Shipley; Father, Steven Wayne Shipley; Mother, Doreen (Joseph M.) Mueller; Step-Grandmother, Rosaura (Joseph N., recently passed) Navarro; Cousins, Sonia (Anthony) Rosales, Alexandra Perez; Aunts and Uncles, Patricia (Carlos) Rios, Arlene (Gary) Hudson, Elsie (Ernie) Gonzales, Lydia Navarro, Duane Gilbert Navarro, George Maestas; Close Friends, Joann Maestas, Trish Maestas.

Jamie had a heart of gold and a strong will to get the things she wanted or protect the ones she loved. This would extend into her many jobs. Starting with Taco Bell, Starbucks and Village Roaster Coffee & Tea. She served so many customers with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. This would cause people to return and see her. She climbed the ranks at each of these jobs into supervisor roles due to her reliability, charisma, and amazing customer service skills. It wasn't only people that gravitated towards her but animals as well. As a young girl she took care of a lizard and loved it so very much and continued with her taking up 2 chinchillas (Nibbles and Tatee) and raising them. When she wasn't at work, she was taking care of them and setting up their cage for videos on her YouTube channel by the name of Vivachins. When she wasn't taking care of them, you would find her playing video games. She loved all games but loved horror games the most; these include Resident Evil, Little Nightmares, Soma, Outlast, The Last of Us I & II, and The Evil Within I & II. She loved watching shows like The Walking Dead, Stranger Things and the Fallout television series. She will be missed as she loved her family so much, her smile and laugh were such a joy to everyone she encountered. To hear her laugh would bring happiness to those around her and would fill the room with smiles. Such an honest laugh that, if possible, to keep it in a jar, we would do so. She will be remembered as a happy, loving and giving soul by everyone she has interacted with, most notably her family and friends. This isn't goodbye but rather her going home as this is not our home, but we will see her again when we are all called home to be together again as a family.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
-Revelation 21:4 KJV
