Janet L. Deal

Janet Leanne Deal was born at Shaw Air Force Base SC on 07/14/1958. She died on 04/30/2023 at age 64 in Lakewood CO. Janet's family moved to Fairbanks AK in 1961 The family moved to Duluth MN in 1964. After her father retired from the Air Force in 1971, the family moved to Aurora CO. Janet's father, James E. Deal, died in 1977 and her mother Ruby L. Deal died in 2015. They are buried at Ft Logan National Cemetery.

Janet was an outgoing, loving woman who tried to make everyone around her happy. Janet studied fine art and music at Colorado Women's College (now part of Denver University). After graduation, she did clerical work for National Jewish Hospital and played organ for Hope Lutheran Church. She married David King on 05/22/1993. Janet then obtained an associate degree in graphic design and found a job in that field with United Artist Theaters. After United Artist was acquired by Regal Theaters, a new company was formed, National CineMedia, where Janet worked until 2015.

Janet is survived by her husband, David L King and her three sisters, Kathleen Jarchow, Leslie Griner and Margaret Deal-Saul and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
