Janet Ruth (Rife) Graham

GRAHAM, JANET RUTH (RIFE)

Colorado native, born July 9, 1932 at Laird, CO to Roy and Mattie (Emel) Rife. Died July 1, 2018 at home. Proceeded in death by her parents, brother, Don Rife, son, Thomas Graham, daughter, Susan Graham Ruttell, and great granddaughter, Everly Graham. Survived by her children, David Graham (Debbie) of Norton, KS, Sally Garcia (Mike) of Lakewood, CO and Sandy Brenner (Greg) of Lodgepole, NE, her brother Gary Rife of Tucson, AZ., eight grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren.
Janet will be remembered for her longtime interest in genealogy and as one of the founders of Foothills Genealogical Society of Colorado. Her love of travel inspired her to own and operate Atlas Travel, Inc. in Lakewood. Janet was fortunate to travel extensively in the United States and to 48 countries. Janet rarely passed up an opportunity to play bridge with the various bridge clubs and cherished her time with family and friends. A memorial service will be at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St., Golden, CO 80401 on July 6 at 11:00am with a luncheon reception to follow. Private family internment will be held at a later date in Wray, CO.
