Janet R. Kroeker, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2018 with her husband by her side.
She was born in Savanna, Illinois on May 20, 1933 to Glen Smith and Elfrieda (Miller) Smith both of Savanna, Illinois. She spent many years as a factory worker and as a house keeper. On July 10, 1999, she and Arno Kroeker were married in Aurora, Colorado. They later moved and were residents of Westminster, Colorado until her death. Both she and her husband were retired. She was preceded in death by both parents.
Survivors include her husband, Arno Kroeker, of Westminster, CO, two daughters: Pamela Heindenreich, of Sabula, Iowa, and Bonnie Rice of Lamotte, Iowa; one son David Stierman of DuBuque, Iowa and many grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Sunday afternoon, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, December 30th, 2018 and a Funeral Service December 31, 2018 at 12:00 noon, both at the Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 So. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO with interment to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
