Janice Arlene Howard
March 2, 1947 - December 22, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Arlene Howard. She went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2023, at the age of 76. Her presence will be missed; she truly made the world a better place!
Jan was born on March 2, 1947, to Adolph and Thelma Miller in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Evans High School in 1965, received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1969, and went on to receive a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. She was married to Kenneth A. Howard until his passing in 2016. The two of them met in college and were completely devoted to each other.
She was the most loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always thought of others before herself. Her wisdom, tenacity, and organizational ability were second to none. She enjoyed road trips, rock hounding, arrow head hunting, sewing, knitting, and playing the piano. Many of her skills were self taught. She was determined to keep up with technology, always trying to learn new ways of using her iPhone and laptop.
She is survived by her sister Jean(Neil), her two children: Dean and Darlene(Richard), four grandchildren: Coriann (Kit), Megan, Allison, and Tyler, one niece, and three nephews.
Jan faithfully attended Red Rocks Baptist Church located at 14711 West Morrison Road, Morrison, CO 80465. Her services will be held there on January 13, at 11:00am. In her final wishes, she specifically requested that all who attended her memorial hear a clear presentation of the gospel. She wished all to share in her wonderful faith in Jesus and a glorious life after.
