Born in the quaint surroundings of Ohio, Jayna navigated the winding paths of life with a warmth that resonated deeply with those fortunate enough to know her. She on a noble vocation as a pharmacist, dedicating many years of her life to the service of others, before concluding her career as a Physician Assistant, where her compassionate care left an indelible mark on her patients’ lives.
A woman of remarkable intellect and tenacity, Jayna earned her Doctorate Degree in California, a testament to her unwavering commitment to her field. Yet, beyond her professional accomplishments, it was her rare sense of humor and her loving spirit that truly defined her essence. From a young age, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures, often participating in various sporting activities, reflecting her spirited nature and steadfast determination.
Residing in Lakewood, Colorado at the time of her passing, Jayna’s life was rich with diverse interests that brought joy to both herself and those around her. The Sierra Club was dear to her heart, where she reveled in the beauty of nature. Her love for animals was evident, as she embraced the life of a residential farmer—an endeavor that showcased her nurturing soul. An artist at heart, she expressed her creativity through crafts, particularly rug making, and her vibrant favorite colors of pink and red were emblematic of her lively personality.
Jayna’s passion for baseball, especially her unwavering support for the Colorado Rockies, painted a picture of her engaging spirit and her ability to find joy in the community around her.
Jayna leaves behind a tapestry of cherished family members: her devoted sister, Kara Ignacio, along with her brother-in-law, Ralph Ignacio, and her beloved sister, Mary Evanoff. She is also survived by her niece, Mary Kylia Spenger, whose life was undoubtedly touched by her aunt’s kindness and wisdom.
Though the world will feel a little dimmer without Jayna’s radiant light, her memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege to know and love her. She has been reunited in peace with her beloved mother, Mary Yadon; her father, George Evanoff; and her dear sister, Tanya Evanoff.
