Jeffrey J. Nau, age 63, of Aurora, CO passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born on September 27, 1958 in Omaha, NE, the son of Elnore (Even) and Gerald Nau.

Jeffrey was born in Omaha, NE and raised in Littleton, CO. Went to Heritage High School and joined the Army in 1979. He was stationed and served in Germany. After the Army he became a US Federally Licensed Airframe (Helicopter) Mechanic for 33 years and traveled around the world working for Pegasus Helicopters.

He lived in Anchorage and Fairbanks, AK for many years before returning back to Littleton after his grandson was born. He loved the great outdoors - Camping, hiking, jeeping and was a great fisherman. He was an avid reader of Science fiction and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Reviews. He also received a US Patent on a Electromagnetic Engine that he created and designed.

He was an awesome storyteller and had a great sense of humor. He had a kind heart and loved being with his daughter, grandson and family.

Survivors include his siblings, Eugen Nau, Theresa Nau, Charlie (Virgina) Nau, Debbie (Charlie) Redmond; Daughter, Leslie Lynn Nau and Leslie's Fiancé Brian Ross; Grandson, Jacob Lawrence; Nieces, Cheryl (Josh) Jacobson, Jenny (Dane) Strott, and Kiki Nau; Nephews: Zach (Harlea) Nau and Shane (Karlie) Nau; and 5 great nephews, Marcus, Alexander, Atticus, Peter and Dane and 2 great nieces, Danielle and Korie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Elnore Nau; brothers, Jim, Bruce, and Ricky Nau.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at St Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
