Jenny Lee Stephani

Jenny Lee Russ Stephani of Highlands Ranch, CO went home to the Lord on June 9, 2023. She was
surrounded by her husband and two sons.
She was born to Rheda and Donald Russ on April 29, 1959 in Glen Ellyn, IL. Jenny graduated for Lake Forest High School in 1976 and received a BSBA degree from University of Denver in 1981. She went on to receive an M.Ed. from University of Denver in 2001. In 1981 she married William (Bill) Stephani in Lake Forest, IL. They both have resided in the Denver area since then.
Jenny loved children and she loved to teach. She taught primary grades in the Denver Public Schools and
in Montessori. In addition, she volunteered to teach the children in Sunday school. She was a fixture at
Light of the Nations Foursquare Church.
Jenny is survived by her husband Bill, her two sons, Nicholas Stephani and Thomas Stephani, both of
Highlands Ranch, her brothers Don Russ of Fayetteville, AR and Scott Russ of Gurnee, IL and her sisters
Carol Russ of Lake Bluff, IL and Diana Moore of Lake Forest, IL. She was loved by numerous nieces and
nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Light of the Nations Church in Denver.
A celebration of life will be held at Light of the Nations Church at 1650 South Birch Street in Denver on Saturday,
July 8 at 1:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish from their home country.
