Jerry Garcia passed away on January 14, 2022.
Born in Cerro, NM to Jose Eladio Garcia and Mary Celia Laforett on March 29, 1938, he and his family which included three brothers, Roger, Jose Eladio, Tiodare "Ted", and sister Catherine "Cathie" moved to Colorado when he was twelve where he later graduated from Louisville High School in 1957.
The family moved to Golden and he stayed in the area ever since.
Jerry worked as a pressman for Jeppesen Sanderson , an aeronautical topographical map making company in Englewood, CO. He stayed with the company for 39 years.
He enjoyed fly fishing, traveling and working in his yard.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Susan, his brother Ted, sister, Cathie, and three sons, Michael, Richard and Scott; as well as six grandchildren, Nina, April, Ben, Athena, Conrad, and Emily. He is also survived by various nieces and nephews.
Jerry we love and miss you so very much.You will be forever in our hearts.
