Jesse William Porter, 90, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away August 22, 2023.
Born April 4, 1933, in Alma, Arkansas to James "Lonnie" and Artie Lou (Edgmon) Porter. He was one of three children.
Jesse passed away in his daughter and sons-in-law home after a three-week battle with Prostate Cancer surrounded by family and friends.
Jessie was a devoted husband to his wife of fifty years, Agnes Porter. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by two daughters, Terrie Babauta (John) and Debbie McGuire and one son, JayDon Porter; grandchildren, Anthony Babauta, Ashley Romero (Marcus), Justin Porter, Kevin Porter and Felicia Johnson (Mark); great-grandchildren, Marcus Romero, Jade Jasmine and Kevyn Johnson and Mack Porter.
He was a beloved brother to Ruth McFarland, Alice Miller and Jerry Porter (Becky), along with many nieces and nephews and a true friend to many.
Jesse is preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Porter; his parents, Lonnie and Artie Porter, a daughter, Debbie Porter Allen, a son, Tim Porter and son-in-law, Duane McGuire; sisters, Debbie Easter, Freda Dunn, Jennifer Jo Croff and Pansy Williamson.
Jesse will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
