Jevon "Von" Edward Luis De Van

With heavy hearts, we want to share with you of the passing of Jevon "Von" De Van, Sr. of Denver, Colorado. Jevon left us far too soon on September 26, 2024, at the young age of 31, but he will forever remain in our hearts. Born on December 10, 1992, he filled our lives with laughter, warmth, and his cherished spirit. A proud member of Montbello's Class of 2011 (Chopsticks), Jevon was known for his knack for mischief and his infectious humor, which brightened even the darkest of days.

Jevon's greatest joy came from being a devoted father to his two handsome sons, Le'Veon and Jevon, Jr., and to his beloved stepsons, Jeremiah and Nehemiah Fields. His love for family shone brightly, nurturing bonds that will continue to endure. Jevon is survived by his loving spouse, Tashaun Fields, and his parents, Janice Mallard (West) and Derrek De Van. He leaves behind a large and caring family filled with brothers, sisters, and countless friends who admired him deeply.

We would not expect anything less from this wonderful father Jevon, who loved spending time with his sons, embracing new experiences, and creating cherished memories together. He had a culinary flair that brought everyone to the table and found joy in cheering for his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints. His vibrant spirit and love for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
