A loving friend, mother and all around pretty cool human.
JoAnn Brallier, 77 of Aurora Colorado, died March 10th at home surrounded by family, friends, and a lot of love.
She was born in Chula Vista, California in 1947 to Maxine McKim (Frazier) and Orville McKim. As a child, she loved horses and the outdoors. JoAnn attended Nederland High School, Nederland Colorado, and graduated in 1964.
JoAnn had a soft spot for animals, treating each and every one like the valuable family member they were. She cared for many stray dogs throughout her lifetime. Maxine, her mother, was her best friend and they remained close their whole lives.
JoAnn was a dedicated caregiver for many years. She established close friendships with the people that she took care of.
JoAnn had many hobbies and excelled at each. She worked with leather and made custom belts and belt buckles for some of the Denver Broncos in the 80s. JoAnn was an accomplished seamstress and also knitted a mean sweater. Painting was always a love of hers. She has paintings in the Laramie Wyoming prison museum. For the last several years JoAnn did amazing wood carvings and won many best in show awards.
JoAnn Brallier will always be remembered for her kindness and love towards others.
She will be missed and remembered by her family and friends.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her mother Maxine and her father Orville and is survived by her two sisters Rose Marie and Bonnie Jean. And sons, Clinton Wayne Brallier and David Shannon Brallier. Her boys meant the world to her. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Ivory Legend, Kaetlyn Jade, Raven Honor Mystique, Alexander Cole, Ella Rachelle Austin, Isha Neha True and one great grandchild William James Mc Clain.
