He was born on January 22, 1924, in Baldy, New Mexico the son of Julian Vandez an Rumaldita Medina.
He married Mary H. Garcia in 1946 in Denver, CO. His occupation was a retired Welder. He loved building and fixing things, BBQ's and gatherings
He was a member of the Sidewinder Lounge He served in Army WWII

Daughter: Mary Anne Valdez, Denver, CO
Daughter: Barbara Valdez, Denver, CO
Daughter: Annette Valdez, Denver, CO
Daughter: Lucy Valdez, Denver, CO
Son: Robert Valdez, Denver, CO
Grandchildren: 22
Great Grandchildren: 8
Services were held Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at St. Cajetan Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M.
Burial was at Fort Logan National Cemetery
