Joe L Hill, 85, of Westminster, Colorado passed away October 11, 2023.
Joe was born July 12, 1938 to John and Bertha Hill in Pryor, Oklahoma. Joe grew up on the family dairy farm in Rose, Oklahoma. After graduation, he worked at Boeing in Wichita and then moved to Colorado in the early 1960's to work in construction until he retired in 2000. Joe was a sports enthusiast and loved basketball and baseball, and he spent summers fishing and gardening.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha Hill; his brother, Wesley Hill and sister-in-law, Sue Hill Crow; his brother-in-law, Wayne McCartney; his nephews, Tony McCartney and Robert McCartney; and his great niece, Jennifer Hill. Joe is survived by his two daughters, Lyna Smith and Kari Hill; his wife, Drea Hill; his sister, Jean McCartney; his nephews, Steve Hill, Mike Hill, and Ray McCartney; and many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and step children and step grandchildren.
The celebration of life was held in Broomfield, Colorado on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
