Our Beloved Johanna Clayton tragically left us in the early hours of
September 27th, 2024. She was a beloved soul that touched many lives. She was born December 18th 1933 to Maria Haber-Haunfelder and Johann Haunfelder in Nuremberg, Germany. She was the middle child to 6 siblings Gunter, Betti, Kathie, Erika, Ernest and Rosi. She had humble beginnings and grew up in the midst of a war. They did the best that they could. Resilience and Strength helped them survive.
She went on and met the love of her life J.C. Clayton and got married on February 4th 1956 and later welcomed a baby girl Monica. Johanna and J.C. traveled until they eventually settled in Denver, Colorado. She worked as a CNA at Saint Joseph Hospital in the mother baby unit until she retired in the mid 90's. Johanna walked through life with a gentle strength , touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace. She enjoyed her friends, family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the backbone of the family and she took care of us the best way she could.She was always so full of love and life and she will be deeply missed.
She is joined in the afterlife with her husband J.C. Clayton and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Monica Harvey. Grand daughters Angeline Greene and Carin Craft. Great grandchildren Tania Clayton and Marquiese Craft, and Great-Great grandchildren Tiara Johnson, Tevin Johnson Jr. , J.C. Craft .
