John B. Davoren

84, of Denver. Preceded in death by his wife Patricia. Survived by his sons, Michael and Thomas (Shannon); daughter, Cynthia (Chris) Nowak; grandchildren, Joshua (Jennifer) McDaniel, Patricia (Mike) Gurney, and Kyle Davoren; great grandchildren, Josh McDaniel and Kaelyn Gurney; step-grandchildren, Joshua and Kristin Nowak, and Devon Holland; and sister, Joan (Joe) Nelson of Wheat Ridge. John was a Marine in WWII, a soldier during the Korean War, and a state representative for Adams County (1979-1984). He was a writer in Denver for International News Service, UPI, KOA/Chan. 4 news, and National Farmers Union.
